NITL had a busy week after Memorial day! Dr. Pavlidis gave an invited talk at the 243rd Electrochemical Society (ECS) Meeting in Boston, MA! He presented on “Sub-Bandgap Thermoreflectance Imaging of Ultra-Wide Bandgap Semiconductors”.

Following ECS, Dr. Pavlidis travelled with Bivek to Orlando, FL, for the IEEE Conference on Thermal and Thermomechanical Phenomena in Electronic Systems (ITherm). Bivek successfully presented his first ever conference publication! Meanwhile, Dr. Pavlidis ensured the smooth organization of the Student Networking Poster session. On the last day, they both travelled to the NASA Kennedy Space center in hope of seeing a rocket launch! They ended up encountering an alligator!
